STAR GAZING AT THE ZOO With the UH Institute of Astronomy Discover Animals that are out of this world, as well as those that are more down to earth in our exciting new education program. Join us on an evening tour of the zoo in addition to exploring the night sky above Hawaii.

TWILIGHT TOURS For families: (strollers are welcome). Let us be your guides for a magical evening adventure as we discover what happens at the Honolulu Zoo when the sun goes down and the gates close. 
Held every Saturday Night at the Zoo! 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Recommended for adults and kids ages 4 and up
Cost: $12 per adult, $8 per child ages 4 to 12

SNOOZE IN THE ZOO For Families: Discover who is roaring and who is snoring at night at the Honolulu Zoo! Pizza, tours, and campfire time with s’mores, plus breakfast and a morning stroll. Pack up your tent and give us a call! Read 10/26/01 Star-Bulletin Article on Snooze in the Zoo

BREAKFAST WITH A KEEPER For

STROLLERS: CRITTERS AND CRAFTS
For toddlers and their parents. Visit the animals with your toddler on the first Monday of the month. A special animal craft and snacks are included.

ZOOPER
BIRTHDAY PARTIES For groups of 20 to 45: The fee includes a party facilitator, cake, juice, ice cream, a craft, and a guided tour. Provide your own lunch, or request a Deluxe package, which includes lunch, a candy-filled animal piñata, and stickers for the kids. For more information click here.

VACATION
ADVENTURES: DAY CAMP For kids in grades 1 to 6 (ages 6-11). Wild Adventures await! Spend a week with us on Safari at the Honolulu Zoo. Behind the scenes encounters, insights from zookeepers, animal arts, crafts and games make this the place to be! Children must have completed Kindergarten to participate in this program. PRE-VACATION ADVENTURES: FOR YOUNGER DAY
CAMPERS Ages 4 and 5, designed for children who have not yet completed Kindergarten. Children will explore the zoo using all their senses. Keeper talks, games, walking tours, crafts and our biofact collection will bring the zoo experience to a whole new level for these youngsters.

JUNIOR ZOOKEEPER: for ages 11-18 This is your chance to find out about all the exciting careers that are possible at a zoo. Meet the keepers, learn about the animals, and get the chance to go behind the scenes.

KEIKI ZOOKEEPER: Ages 6-10 Let your child discover the wonderful world of animal conservation at the Honolulu Zoo. We will go behind the scenes to meet the animals, their keepers, and participate in making animal enrichment treats. See "Zoo School" article in the Oahu Island News.

For further information call the Honolulu Zoo Society at: 971-7195 POLICIES:Registration is on a first come, first served basis. If a class is full, you will be placed on the waiting list. If we cannot provide a space for you we will reschedule you or return your payment. We do not refund for missed or partially missed days. Please note that some elements of our programs may change due to animal and staff availability. We reserve the right to cancel a program if enrollment is too low. FAMILY PROGRAMS – you may cancel up to 10 days prior to the program, minus a $20 servicing fee. Your entire payment is forfeited if you cancel less than 10 days before the start of the program. When possible, we will reschedule you. BIRTHDAY PARTIES – you may reschedule/cancel up to 10 days prior to the party date, minus a $50 servicing fee. Your entire payment is forfeited if you cancel less than 10 days prior to the party. An additional fee of $100 will be assessed if your guest count exceeds the 45 person limit. Program discounts are given to HZS premium memberships only (Flamingo/Basic Family Pass excluded).
